👩🏻💻 I’m Genebie and I’m a Sr. UX Designer currently working for United Airlines. Welcome to my online portfolio!
4️⃣ I’ve been designing digital products and experiences for companies like United, REEF Technology, and Sears’ Shop Your Way for four years now.
📚 In the Spring of 2018, I completed my UX Bootcamp at General Assembly. Even though I’ve had a successful 10-year career in Accounting, I listened to my gut and dove right into this wonderful world of Technology. And I’m really glad I did!
✨ User Experience has similarities to my previous world. As a young adult coming out of college, I started my Accounting career in Hospitality where guest experience is always top of mind—anticipating the needs of your customers and creating enjoyable experiences. Being an accountant also trained my brain how to follow and comprehend complex data and information which really pays off in my Dev/Designer relationships 😅.
